Dwell Magazine Highlights Tara McCauley at Collectible NYC 2025

Dwell Magazine, a leading voice in modern design and architecture, covered the second edition of Collectible NYC 2025 at the WSA building in New York’s Financial District. Senior Home Guides Editor Megan Reynolds, known for her sharp eye and wit in design journalism, spotlighted some of the fair’s most imaginative works. Among them, she singled out interior designer Tara McCauley’s “Glamour alle Vongole” lamp as one of her favorites. Inspired by the Italian dish linguine alle vongole and infused with a surreal Hollywood Regency twist, McCauley’s lamp transformed vintage lighting with clamshells, pasta-striped shades, and playful parsley accents.

In her feature “Poufs Made of Pizza Boxes Weren’t the Strangest Things We Saw at Collectible NYC”, Reynolds praised McCauley’s lamp for standing out in the curated Folly section, describing it as a whimsical answer to the question, “What if Fellini were a lamp?” This recognition in Dwell reinforces McCauley’s reputation as one of New York’s most inventive voices in contemporary interior design.
